How PlanMyTravels was born
My name is Beata, and welcome to PlanMyTravels.eu. Travelling has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. I have always enjoyed discovering new places, meeting people from different cultures and experiencing the beauty of the world through my own eyes.
The idea for this blog was born after a journey to Finland. It was during that trip that I decided to start documenting my experiences, sharing practical travel tips and showing the world as I see it through my camera lens. The image displayed on the homepage of PlanMyTravels.eu has been there for more than ten years and was taken during that very journey. It still reminds me of where this adventure began.

PlanMyTravels.eu is a place where I collect travel stories, tailor-made itineraries, practical travel guides and photo galleries from different parts of the world. Here you will find both famous destinations and lesser-known places that left a lasting impression on me.
I try to create the kind of resources that I would personally like to find before travelling: practical information, honest impressions, useful advice and inspiration for independent travel planning.
Travelling through my eyes
I am not a travel agency or a professional guide. Every destination featured on this blog has been visited personally, and all recommendations and opinions are based on my own experiences. I enjoy sharing both the famous attractions and the less obvious places that help visitors better understand a destination.
For me, travelling is not only about sightseeing. It is also about meeting people, discovering local food, learning about everyday life and collecting memories that stay with us long after the journey ends.
